All our touchscreens have an IP65 front panel which means that the front panel is water and dustproof (IP65). This is ideal for outdoor use or in dusty industrial environments. IP rating stands for International Protection Rating. The IP rating is a method that indicates the degree of protection of enclosures and/or other objects.
The IP rating indicates how well the material is resistant to ingress of water, objects, dust and how mechanically resistant it is. The IP rating is internationally standardised in the standard IEC 60529. The IP designation has two digits:
Digit 1 - Protection against ingress of objects and dust
Digit 2 - Protection against water
